In 2012 MAL make the big step up to Divison 1 of the Middlesex Sunday Cricket League, which should represent a real challenge, having had severall years of repeated success.
2011 was another great year for MAL - with a league and cup double confirmed following the Maccabi National Knockout Cup Final in September at London Colney.
The last few years have been full of unprecedented success for MAL, with the trophy cabinet full to bursting. The Maccabi League was won in 2008 and 2009, Middlesex Sunday Cricket League Division 3 in 2010, and Middlesex Sunday Cricket League Division 2 in 2011. The Maccabi 20/20 was won in 2008 and defended in 2010, and we won the Maccabi National Knockout in 2011. We have also played some fantastic friendlies. The past seasons have seen the side grow in terms of new fixtures, games won, number of players and above all the teams ability & commitment. We all look forward to 2012 when we hope to build upon the foundations we have laid.
We play both friendlies at a weak medium/medium level and also in a league on sunday.
We bring to all a culture of laughter, spirit and the sense of being a really close knit club with an amalgam of exciting cricket specially blended with skill, guile and sportsmanship.
For those that share the same desire & passion and either want to add us to their fixture list or for players that want to join our club then please send us a message.
So let the season commence and we can finally put into practice all the things we are sooooooo good at talking about. Especially how we are all going to play ourselves in and build the innings we are more than capable of!
Please feel free to add things to the site.
